New release

Icelandic rock band Deep Jimi and the Zep Creams have released their fourth album on Geimsteinn, the country’s oldest indie.  The album Better When We‘re Dead is produced by Thorvaldur Bjarni Thorvaldsson and recorded at Studio Reykjavik.  This is only the second time the band works with an outside producer the first time being on their very first album Funky Dinosaur produced by the legendary Kramer and released on Atco/East-West NY in the early nineties.

On this latest offering Thorvaldur Bjarni‘s influence is evident in a smoother sound and a richer production as opposed to its predecessors more rough and tumble edge.  The band will be playing selected gigs in Iceland in order to follow up on the album.
